What's So Cool About Suburbia?

How well do you really know your neighbors? What secrets are they keeping from you? Did the baker of the street's best pecan pie really kill their husband? Is the businessman across the street embezzling funds to pay for his daughter's private school? Why is the woman across the street receiving deliveries at all hours of the night? 

It would be easy to mind your own business-- except you have secrets of your own, and you just know your neighbors won't let that slide.

This is a tabletop roleplaying game about the petty drama that permeates the American Suburb, where building social credit is just as urgent as catching the murderer next door. Low stakes are treated as high stakes, high stakes are treated as caricature, and everything is a little too perfect and larger than life. Build up your neighborhood... or tear it apart.

To play, all you need are some friends, a few six-sided dice, and some scrap paper.

What’s So Cool About Suburbia? is a rules-lite TTRPG based on What’s So Cool About Monster Blood? by Bad Quail Games... and, by extension, What’s So Cool About Outer Space? by Jared Sinclair. Some of their words are used unaltered.
